  With 20 years of experience growing specialty pumpkins in Richmond, Gallmeyer Farms is one of the go-to spots for pumpkins, gourds, and squash in the city. Located convenient to these Richmond homes for sale, the farm includes a well-stocked farm stand as well as a pick-your-own field where you can hunt down your perfect pumpkin.   With two locations in Richmond, Strange's Florist & Garden Center is a reliable place to find pumpkins when fall rolls around. Strange's carries a wide selection of pumpkins and winter squash, including varieties for baking, carving and decoration. • Hanover Vegetable Farm - 13580 Ashland Rd, Ashland, VA 23005
  Located near many Hanover homes for sale, the beautiful, rambling landscape of Hanover Vegetable Farm produces an ever-changing array of crops that change with the seasons. This season, it's all about pumpkins. Pumpkin picking at Hanover Vegetable Farm starts on September 27th this year and continues through October. The farm also hosts live music and fall-themed activities most weekends throughout the season. Hanover Vegetable Farm has been in the same family for four generations, and they've been growing produce on the same property since 1902. 
  
  
• Grandma's Pumpkins - 800 Courthouse Rd, Richmond, VA 23236
  Tucked away on a quiet street on Richmond's West Side, Grandma's Pumpkins is a quiet, low-key spot for picking pumpkins within the city limits. This long-running family business offers a varied selection of reasonably priced pumpkins as well as a kids' play set and some simple family activities. Grandma's Pumpkins usually accepts cash or checks only, so come prepared!
  
  
• Levi's Pumpkins - 6110 Qualla Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832
  Head out to the rolling countryside in Chesterfield to check out the wide variety of pumpkins available at Levi's Pumpkins this fall. With a convenient location just minutes from these Chesterfield homes for sale, Levi's Pumpkins offers family-friendly fall fun and games and a great selection of locally-grown pumpkins and gourds. The pumpkin patch and farm stand at Levi's is open daily from 9 am to 7 pm through October 31st, and also offers decorative hay bales, corn stalks and other fall decor.
