The scenic, pet-friendly farm provides seasonal opportunities to pick your own pumpkins, blueberries, sunflowers, and Christmas trees. Take in the fall beauty of the fields on a traditional hayride. Opening day is Thursday, September 21, with hours from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.

Pumpkin picking is a special event at Lloyd Family Farms. Members of the family's third and fourth generations can often be found hard at work in the fields, barn, or house. Their pumpkin patch is host to hay rides, a corn maze, yard games, and other fun-filled activities, while some of the area's top food trucks will be onsite. Kids can take part in face painting and pony rides on the weekends. The season begins on Saturday, September 23, and farm hours start at 9 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Admission is $6-$12 and includes all activities. Pumpkins are sold extra.

Immerse yourself in local history with a visit to Hanover Vegetable Farm. Built in 1902, the farmhouse served as the Farrington Post Office until 1935. For four generations, the Sears family has lived at the farm. Bring Fido along when pumpkin picking starts on Saturday, September 30, with the highlight of the season being the Gourds, Goblets, and Ghouls Festival on the weekend of October 14. Every day in October is a special occasion at Braehead Farm. There's never any admission fee for their pick-your-own fields. Pay only for the pumpkins, produce, and flowers you take home. Family Playgrounds, located behind the market, are open for a fee of $6 for ages 3 and up. Weekends are Fall Festival time when activities include hayrides, a corn maze, a scavenger hunt, food and beverages, and photo opportunities with the Great Pumpkin. Festival admission is $14 for ages 3 and up. Braehead Farm is open daily from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

As summer moves into fall, Gallmeyer Farms follows the season as it transforms into The Pumpkin Patch. Start a new family tradition as you enjoy hayrides, house tours, and a straw bale maze.
